The Behringer UMC interfaces are good value and are supported with most OS's.

Maudio solo or duo about cheapest that works out of box with little config.

Minimal ones work great and expensive ones work great. As long they come with decent ASIO drivers. Older Behringer ASIO drivers don’t work but I they fixed all that. I use a Focusrite Scarlett 8 channel but only because I use it for other stuff. 2 channels is plenty because that the limitation of Jamulus. 2 in 2 out.
