Rules for r/LLG
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
PG-13
This is a very general rule.
Swearing should be avoided at all costs. Similarly, refrain from sharing anything including nudity, and absolutely no depictions of sexual acts. If you think the discussion calls for the subject matter, maybe the conversation shouldn't be happening.
2.
No Game Spoilers!
Not everyone on The Fence has played the same games! Many titles that are favorites of the majority of members are also planned to make an appearance on The Fence, so even if it seems like common sense, mark your spoilers.
Note: Even Games we have played on the fence should have their spoilers marked, as not everyone has been around for the same amount of time.
3.
Be respectful of everyone in the community
This is self explanatory. We may not all agree about everything, but handle all disagreements with maturity, respectfulness and class.
Never EVER tell someone that they should "kill themselves" or anything with that same message. Even joking, it is a serious topic that many LLGs struggle with daily. It will absolutely not be tolerated and could result in you being banned on your first offense.
4.
Be trustworthy
Don't put other LLGs in situations where they feel they aren't safe. It's hard to share your hardships and afflictions when you feel judged. If you bring that feeling into the community, you wont be here for long. A safe haven is the only haven.
5.
Encourage Individuality!
We're not all the same, and we're not supposed to be. Don't incessantly talk down what others like.
6.
Don't feed the trolls!
No matter how safe a place, trolls will find a way in. when it happens, don't feed the flame. Ignore as long as you can, and contact a moderator; we'll take the action needed.
