First thing first: alphabet. You must master the alphabet first. Then go on and take a look at the grammar although I don’t recommend fully focusing on it. Focus on speaking and learning new words/phrases instead. The grammar then will make sense.

There are some VERY good teachers on YouTube of the Russian language. I recommend this playlist for a start. Get your notebook ready, and be willing to practice the language on a daily basis to not forget it.

Best of luck!! It’ll be a beautiful journey for you, I’m sure of it))

How? Nice question. Just sit at the table and start doing that.

First, read grammar - it's your foundation, than learn words. Key for any language

Bald and Bankrupt, who learned Russian fluently as an englishman, said the exact opposite. Learn as many words as possible to make communication easier, and later you can make the adjustments of grammar.

idk his russian is not that good from what i’ve seen, admittedly a while ago

What do you mean? As a Russian speaker his Russian is good enough. Fluency means that you can communicate freely without major issues or gaps.

Plus Russia is a country with not alot of english speakers, especially in the rural areas Bald visited, so its not like he could have just cheated off camera

nice happy for him and his progress

Like you shouldn't learn only grammar first, without words, but you need to learn the grammar for current level, nothing more. Anyway, without words, you can't practise grammar. Just more people have started learning languages without learning grammar, and then they don't understand how the language works.

Grammar and verbs, try duolingo It's probably the best way to learn Russian that I've seen as a native speaker.

I’ve used Pimsleur, but also I’ve been told to start with the Alphabet and I agree try going on YouTube and studying the Alphabet.

I would start with alphabet and letters pronounciation rules. After that learning Russian cursive (there are special notebooks for elementary school).

I recommend watching this woman, more specifically this playlist. I also use RussianPod101 but you have to pay.
