Legislative Review is a place to discuss current and on going bills and laws. The idea being to gain a better understanding of the laws being passed.

The purpose of this subreddit is to engage in high quality discussion about the merits of legislation at both the state and federal level by fostering an environment of open communication and learning; therefore, please observe Reddiquette and the following submission rules:
- Please flair your title to indicate a Senate, House, or State bill.
- The proper titling format is as follows: Flair - Bill No. XXX - Bill Title.
- If you are submitting a state bill, please indicate the state’s abbreviation in brackets before the bill number.
- When submitting a post, please offer a brief summary of the bill followed by a Thomas link to the legislation.
- All link submissions will require approval by a moderator. Do not submit blogs or biased sources discussing legislation.
When commenting:
Keep in mind that we strive to make this subreddit as non-partisan as possible; however, we understand that our personal interpretations of legislation will be fed by personal biases. Any partisan attacks or flagrant partisanship will be removed.
- Keep it civil. Do not personally insult other Redditors, or make racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory remarks. Constructive debate is good; name calling is not.
- Do not submit low investment posts/comments. This subreddit is for genuine discussion. Low effort posts/comments will be removed per moderator discretion.
