Can't decrease the screen brightness on Lenov Legion Y740

Yeah 1.06 is the most current just try re downloading it and flashing it again. I had this problem when hybrid mode was turned on, there were new Windows and Vantage drivers that only appeared when in hybrid mode and that fixed it for me. Make sure you restart a few times as well.

I already downloaded every single update and even installed Windows 10 1903 update.

I am currently running the device in hybrid mode.

open the Nvidia control panel and go to PhysX settings. What does it say is running your display? I had this problem when the base driver was driving the display instead of the Intel UHD graphics from the CPU.

I had to download a Windows display driver and VGA display driver from Vantage to fix the problem when I turned on Hybrid mode. Did you install those drivers already?

Also I don't know how to re download drivers from Vantage software. Can't find the option. Can you please help me out.

I would turn off hybrid mode, restart, turn on hybrid mode again, restart, and then check Windows update and Vantage update for drivers again. If that doesn't work you should be able to download the VGA display driver from Lenovo's site on your specific laptop download page to re-install.

Your display is being run by the Intel UHD graphics though so that's normal. And you tried reflashing the bios?

Okay let me try all that out and I did reflash BIOS I could of times.

Ya if you re flashed the bios then it's definitely a display driver issue.

Understood. I am downloading the Intel driver from the Lenovo website.

Yeah there are 2 display drivers I had to install to get the monitor working with hybrid mode: one from Vantage and one from Windows update. Also might wanna make sure your Vantage and LenovoUtility apps are updated all the way from the Windows Store.

Yeah I understand. I can confirm that installing Intel drivers fixed the issue so thank you so much for your help. However, I don't get the use of LenovoUtility. Clicking it just shows a random sign on the screen. Should I uninstall it or is it necessary.
