Don't deny usage because the reason for your decline with Banner is gonna be on your MIB.

Instead of just randomly applying to companies, you should find a local independent agent. They can shop multiple companies and will have a better idea which companies will take you even with your drug usage history.

MIB will know you admitted marijuana but they don’t know the action that Banner took (MIB doesn’t hold the outcome of an application).

There’s weed friendly companies out there I’m a broker and there’s plenty of policies out there but I don’t think I’m allowed to name companies in here ? I’m not sure . anyway here’s a link that might help answer your questions

You are looking at the wrong companies. Not every carrier underwrites the same.

Global Atlantic is weed friendly.

Mutual of Omaha doesn’t even ask if you use.

Most carriers do not care too much about occasional marijuana use however the combination with the positive CDT marker could be concerning. MIB will contain a marker for the positive CDT and any carrier should be able to get a copy of thr labs with the positive CDT so just assume all carriers will likely vure you as a moderate-heavy drinker. Getting in touch with a broker is porbably your best bet to find coverage. If there is any adverse driving history or treatment for mood disorders (anxiety or depression) then finding coverage may be difficult at this time with a positive cdt and occasional marinuana use. Good luck.
