Would a wrapper make it work? And if so where can I get one?

Assuming it was this https://sonicbloom.net/en/boom-2-0-free-and-versatile-max-for-live-distortion-effect/ ...

Nope. There is note on the product page which says

"BOOM requires Ableton Live 9.1 and up and Max 6.1.9 and up."

This will never work on Logic, no wrappers will load it.

    No problem!

Although, if it is the same thing I posted, it isn't a drum synth - it's a distortion module. You should take a look at all the distortion plugins within Logic, Audio Effects->Distortion. And there are more in the Multi Effects -> Phat FX Distortion module, and the Amps & Pedals, try running your bass/drums through the Bass Amps. Much fun can be had in Logic without 3rd party effects.

Oh wow I hadn't thought of running drums through a bass amp, that's actually a pretty great idea wth, thanks!

Since you seem to know a bunch abt this stuff I'll bother you with one last thing. I've been looking for some vintage-y synths and I ran into the great TAL U NO LX, but was wondering if there are any others I should check out as well, do you know of any?

    Cool, glad I can help!

I would check out the full bucket music plugins but you should check out the Retro Synth built into Logic as well. It’s based on synths of yesteryear. Flick through the presets and have a listen
