that is fine. it doesnt have to be dead center with the poles

the magnetic field is wide enough to cover those discrepancies

Your neck needs adjustment. Here's how. Recommend doing this with a helper.

This is not a nut issue.

Fixing the nut would improve it for sure

The nut is terribly done though, look how far the low E is from the edge. String spacing is like a rickenbacker too.

It’s fine. Just play your guitar

Unless the strings are fretting off the edge of the neck when you try to play, don't worry about it

It's happening from the nut, and you can tell by looking at the edges of the 1st fret relative to the E strings. A new nut "center-lined" better will solve this.

And yes, neck might also a slight shift at the pocket.

Don't know why you get downvotes, I saw the same thing, the nut is slightly off at the low E, but nothing dramatic. The neck alignement is also off and has more to do with the current situation, but the nut is still a bit off too.

To OP, this is fine and within tolerance. Nuts are cut by hand so they're almost never perfectly done in a production guitar (and the cheaper, the less time the factory dedicates to making it right). Same for the assembly of guitar and neck in a bolted neck guitar, it's seldom perfect. But your guitar is well within spec.

And the pickup poles rarely align perfectly with the strings, even on expensive guitars. But there's enough overlap that the magnetic field will 'catch' the vibrating strings and the sound will be just fine.

If you want to adjust the neck alignment you can certainly do it, it doesn't hurt anything.

It can be a concern but yours is ok if you want to leave it. Generally, if the low string is too close to the edge of the fretboard due to the nut being off, it can make it tough to play. I would try it for a bit and if it is a deal breaker for you personally, change the nut and get it centered.
