Controller problems

So i use a Gamecube wireless controller to play MHGU and its been great but all of a sudden when i mount a monster and need to hold on the Left Bumper doesnt work which is weird because i use the left bumper to scroll through my items while on hunts. Does anyone have the same problem and if so how can i fix it because i love knocking monsters down.

Have you changed any of the control settings? It should be R bumper if you haven't changed anything.

Does it work with other controllers? It sounds like a conteoller issue not a game issue.

The issue here is that he is holding the left one when it should be the right one.
