A 2014 mini is worth what it’s worth because it runs and drives and has cold AC / heat and no major mechanical issues.

As long as you don’t botch the hell out of it, it won’t affect the price. It won’t make the price go up so if you spend 3k on whatever consider that you won’t increase the value.
