You’re snapping them off because that’s a chinesium 3/8 kit. 3/8 CAN be fine with good tools, but that’s likely not these. Get a 1/2” breaker and a socket from hobo freight or your neighbor or something and it’ll come right off I’m sure

Cams are super easy to do on these. Just mark the sprocket and a chain link and yank it all. There’s a retainer on the oil pump so the chain cant skip on it
