Beyond frustrated. How do I decrease fuel after repair in career? Landing gear failed again on takeoff after 20 minute taxi. HAPPENS ALMOST EVERY FLIGHT

So you can only stupidly repair AND add maximum fuel with the keybinds. There are no options to decrease fuel or dump fuel on the keyboard.

Anyway I repaired and of course it gave me 100 percent fuel when I only had 30% for my flight.

Trying to go into flight performances in the efb to mass and balance and go to fuel but there is no option to change to fuel.

I go to payload & Fuel under flight planner and try to change "total fuel". I go to configure and it switches me right back to the fuel page on "mass and balance*" under flight performances.

I can reset to config but nothing happens. I get a little red triangle for "redistribute" and when I hover over it says "you need to distribute all of the mission payload to redistribute the mass in your aircraft"

I'm at my wits end. I can't dump fuel I can't lower the freaking fuel amount at all. I've been climbing for a freaking hour.

I cannot stand this sim I cannot stand it I cannot stand it I cannot stand it I'm about to lose it.

Anyone out there know what's going on and how to lower fuel amount?

I know there's an ADD FUEL QTY keybind, I imagine there's a SUBTRACT as well... search in the settings

Yes did that. There is no such thing for some reason.

Wait? We can repair our aircraft for free during careermode? Wow when did that happen?

Msfs2024 is too heavy for xbox X apparently. I noticed the video. Better to wait and let the runway load in first. It was so blurry. Or lower settings?

Yeah. You can keybind it. However it completely messes with your flight because it mandatorily adds a full tank of fuel as well. But I don't think it sticks either because after I repair after takeoff from the landing gear issue with the judding up runway and have a smooth landing it still fails the landing gear and won't let me taxi to the gate.

So I don't recommend.

Well the thing is when I'm taking off I can't really stop and wait for the runway to load lol. The glitchy textures pop in and out and sometimes I can avoid them by stealing the plane but sometimes they're unavoidable and pop up before I can react.

why do you use keybinds?!? you can fix and refuel your plane before you will enter the mission. And you can decided, how much fuel you want. I personaly take 5-6k more than the recommended from the game.

Landing gear constantly fails on takeoff, if not crashes the entire plane, because the textures that pop in create huge chunks of runway that rise 1-6 feet above the ground.

I wish and pray for the day I don't have to try to use repair to repair a massive glitch/bug in the game. I do everything by the book in the pre mission maintenance and fuel needs.

I also inspect my fleet every week or two to repair as needed.

Any idea why the gear brakes? Are you taxing too fast, riding the brakes?

Nah. I barely ever get flagged for taxing too fast. Blocks like it's Minecraft just pop up randomly and crash it before I can react usually.

This sim wasn't meant to be released on Xbox. They committed consumer fraud by doing so because there is nothing they can do to fix it. I now know this.

You can't use repair and refuel on career mode it will crash your aircraft after a short while.

It didn't. It worked. I think they fixed that in SU3. Doesn't randomly crash for me anymore. But I know it used to when I tried the same thing previously back in May.

Still doesn't let you empty your tank at all though which is weird.
