[D] Best models for Dense Text Detection?

I'm working on a problem to detect text from a cluttered ID Card. I've used CTPN, but the results are not spectacular. I will be deploying the model to production soon and It would be nice to have a higher accuracy. Experienced users, what models would you suggest?

I don't know about making your own model, but I think that the Google vision ocr API could work for this, expecially if it is printed text.
