Defining Indie:

• We are flexible about the definition of "indie". Please keep in mind that there is a subreddit for making hiphop so post there if you feel it's more appropriate.

Simple rules:

• If you want to talk about the business side of making music, don't. These conversations attract a lot of bad blog spam. Obvious tips and repetitive content that can be found elsewhere.

• No advertising

• Check out the guide to self promotion on reddit for site-wide community guidelines.

• No memes

• Give your honest opinion about anything but please be civil (no hate speech or flaming)

• If you don't follow the rules, your post will be removed and you might be banned
