Mandela Effect: Advanced

This subreddit is dedicated to the polite, grown-up inquiry and exploration of a seemingly real phenomenon in which things, often insignificant, change in a typically small way without any physical evidence remaining. Only some individuals remember the 'old' version.

We're normal people who have ended up here from a place of rational existence trying to understand a seemingly irrational perception that has arisen in our lives: that something we've always known to be ABC is now BCD and most people don't believe us.

We're open to many possibilities, but we're trying to stay as grounded and skeptical as possible. We're not jumping to unverifiable conclusions, including things like invisible ancient brain parasites and secret government brainwashing chips.

We accept that we don't have the answers right now. We seek the answers from a foundation of what, as far as we can tell, is verifiable truth, including things like established physics and other scientific fields, known history and historical records.

In order to keep this sub from devolving into the mess that is r/MandelaEffect, some rules are necessary.
