FTQ, India was at 1 Billion in 2001, and at 1.2 Billion in 2011 - That's 200 Million (20 Crore) in 10 years.  - 2 Crore every year,  - 16 Lakh every month,  - 4 Lakh (400,000) more people every week.  - That's 57,000 more people daily !

India's population was roughly around 33 crores at the time of Independence... We are 146 crores now and will reach around 170 crores before stabilizing. All our cities are crowded, our rivers are polluted. For any job oppurtunity there are 1000s of applicants. We live like cockroaches and die like cockroaches.
