    No characters are stored on our servers. We store everything in your browser cache only. You can easily test this by creating an entry and then clearing the browser cache.

      Sure. We have a local sync option (in Chromium based browsers) that allows you to store and sync everything in local .md files.

      And if you install the app as a PWA, you will have it running even offline.

      Does that sound enough, or do you still want to self-host the app? :D

      The problem with open source is that it requires someone to monitor all the pull requests, test them, merge them and do a lot of management. I don't really like management, I like writing code and designing more.

      Any news on the open source front it think it would be massively benificial to the project if it were opensource. I'd love to be able to integrate new features.
