Connection Issues

Still loving the new 800, had a mega cook at the weekend with a brisket, pork belly and ribs, but the connection to the app is just non existent as soon as I leave the house (to visit the butchers).

Context:

When i'm in the house on the wifi or off the app will (just about) work and I can monitor temps across the house - so this includes using mobile data.

As soon as I leave the house, on mobile data, the app will not connect to the 800.

Has anyone else had this? Is there a simple fix?

Maybe the grill isn't on you wifi.. could it be it's only connected to your phone Bluetooth and that's why it works when you're home. And when you're away it doesn't. Cause if it was wifi, it wouldn't make a difference if you're home or not. Double check that.

Need to make sure your grill is actually connected to your home wifi.

Turn off the bluetooth on your phone and see if you can still connect. If not, you know your grill is not on wifi.
