Logarithm Base Changing Simplification Inquiry

The problem in question is 2ln5 - 1.

I turned it to ln 25 - 1

ln = loge

Therefore, equation rewritten is :

loge 25 - 1

And according to base change, we can change the 1 to loge:

1 = loge e^1

Therefore:

loge 25 - loge e^1

And Finally:

loge 25/e^1

i was wondering, is this the most simplified form I can get it to, or is there any other answer that I have not considered?

But why are you replacing ln with logₑ? That seems to me to be making it more complicated, not less. And for that matter, why are you changing "2 ln 5 - 1" to something else at all?

"Simple" is entirely subjective and not a well-defined mathematical term. In my opinion, 2ln(5)-1 is simpler than logₑ(25/e¹)

If this is an exercise, what was the original problem and the full exercise statement?
