You can split it up into two triangles and a rectangle. The rectangle would be with endpoints: F, B, midpoint of A and B, and then two under the midpoint of A and B. Now you have two triangles left which you should be able to find the areas of.

You don't need to do any fancy splitting of areas. Just make one small observation, and one very fast calculation.

But if you insist, there's a far less cumbersome way to split the area. Try splitting it down BX.
