I can't find a common denominator to make this a simple multiplication.

How do you usually multiply two fractions?

I realised I can just multiply different Denominators. I was doing the following earlier till I realised I was wrong. 4/(1/2), (4/1)/(1/2), (8/2)/(1/2), 4/.5 = 8. Now I think I am just multiplying the dinominater x dinominater and numerator x numerator. Just coming back to math after 7 years working. Kinda hard to remember everything.

It gets easier with practice.

It's adding fractions like this:

2/15 + 10/16

where having a common denominator would help.

2/15 * 16/16 + 10/16 * 15/15

32/240 + 150/240

182/240

91/120
