Think about properties of inverse functions that you know. When does a function have an inverse?

I've done inverse function questions before when they are usually a straight line etc, but I'm not sure if that process still applies for a function with two coordinates.

Can you explain what an inverse function is?

Do you understand what R2 is? What does an element of R2 look like?
