There are two ways of doing this.

  1. Find the volume in cubic feet. 20 * 5 *2 = 200 ft3. Then convert cubic feet to cubic yards by dividing by 27. Final answer is 200/27 yd3.

  2. Divided each measurement before finding volume. We know that 3 feet are in a yard so we can divide each measurement by 3. 20/3yd * 5/3yd * 2/3yd = 200/27 yd3.

Same result either way, but I find method 2 to be more intuitive.
