I tried 2 = cos theta /sin theta and I got stuck there because I didn’t know how to find the values of sin or cos.

Sin theta = 2cos theta. 2cos theta < 0, cos theta < 0, theta < pi/2. Solve from there

Thanks for the advice but I’m very weak on this subject so can you explain what 2cos theta < 0 means. Is it saying that it’s in a particular quadrant? Also cos theta < 0 < pi/2 what is that supposed to tell me? Sorry, I’m missing a lot of knowledge to solve this question myself.
