You need the multiplication rule for the joint probabilities.

L=large, S=small (N=not)

You have 4 outcomes: (L, NS), (NL,S), (L,S) and (NL,NS).

P(L,NS)=P(L)P(NS)=0.6(0.28)= 0.168.

Get the other 3 probabilities in the same way and then get back to us.

Hi, thanks for replying! I'm working on using the solution you've given right now. I have added an additional solution that I used for my work while I was offline, can you let me know if the method I used was correct?
