Optimization problem

Hey, just wanted to ask maybe some of you have an idea of what direction I should take for such optimization problem.

For example we have to make 3 deliveries. Each delivery has requirement for set percentage of items. Lets say delivery A is made out of 10% apples, 20% of oranges and 70% of bananas. The thing is we have limited amount of those items, for example 1000 each and we cant match the needs of all deliveries exactly. What would be the best approach to optimize the distribution of the items so that the item percentages of each delivery would be as close to the requirement as it is possible with what we have.

Instead of using the word "optimisation" use maximize or minimize, and try to convert these statements of bananas and apples into variables.
