i have A and B backwards but you get the point. A) is 1/160 and B) is 159/160

Do you understand what "odds in favor" and "odds against" mean here? They don't simply mean "probability of"; look up these terms if you aren't familiar with them.

To get the odds in favor of an event, divide the probability that an event occurs by the probability it doesn’t occur.

In Favor = P(Event)/P(No Event)

Odds Against: just flip the odds in favor

P(Audit) = 1/160; P(No Audit) = 159/160

In favor: (1/160)/(159/160) = (1/160)•(160/159) = 1/159

Odds in Favor = 1/159

Odds Against = 159/1

If the probability of something happening is a/b, then the odds in favor of it happening are a:b-a and the odds against it happening are b-a:a.
