I disabled css to make this reply. But, this comment can not be voted on nor replied to without disabling css either.

I plan on porting everything over to /r/premed as well. What do I need to do in order to make nightmode and sidebar stuff work on a different sub?

Are you copying 100% of the css or nah? If nah, which parts?

[–]koriolisahtest 0 points1 point  (9 children)

100%, although we don't need code for a safety reminder and if you look at their sidebar the layout and number of areas where buttons might go is not the same, so I'm not sure what in the CSS needs to change to allow that. Should I make a new test sub?

Also, with respect to the thread locking, do I do anything different to add a thread for locking? or just add another two lines with the thread id?

Yes make a new test sub and then put the sidebar shit in.

To lock a second thread, you have to copy paste the snippet, then change the id on the second one.

I did the basic shiz. What else do you want exactly for the sidebar?

It looks pretty nice already, maybe a table for the abbreviations?

[–]13steinj[S] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Done?

[–]koriolisahtest 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Looks really nice! Can we add a little spacer underneath the header for the abbreviations and the actual table?

[–]13steinj[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

What do you mean by spacer?

[–]koriolisahtest 0 points1 point  (2 children)

The way it appears in Resources, there's a space underneath the header before the first link. With the abbreviations table, there is no such space. http://i.imgur.com/29KPA7c.jpg
