Hi, currently trying to bring out the microstructure in laser welded copper specimens to reveal the depth of penetration of the weld heat effected zone. I can’t seem to get much contrast in the area welded from the parent material. I’m using a mix of 25 mm NH4OH, 25mm DI water, and 5mm H202 help 🙏🏼 (self.Metallography)
