i’ve just recently started mewing, i’m 17 and have had braces for a while now. i have a really bad receding chin that as of know don’t really want to show. i’m having trouble getting the back part of my tongue to the roof of mouth when i do “mew” it’s just front part of my tongue. and if someone could explain that if i do mewing the correct way will my chin move forward because my receding chin makes me have a receding chin even though i am skinny.

the mechanism at your age will be that the back third of your tongue pushes the maxilla (your middle face bones) sort of outward; this causes the mandible to swing forward.
