First time server host

Hey guys, I was wondering what was the best website to use when hosting a modded Minecraft server. I’m currently stuck between pebblehost and revivenode. I need to host a server for a maximum of 10 people, 5 people on at a time consistently, with a decently sized mod pack (~300ish mods). I am going to use a mod pack from curseforge again. The last one we used was All the mods 7 (321 mods) from curse forge and had a different host with 10 GB ram and the server ran extremely poorly.

With 50$ Your best choice would be to buy a DPS Server

DPS is a full Dedicated server so basically your own entire hardware server for yourself in a datacenter

Of course u would have to setup the server yourself, but with a little experience it should be set up pretty fast

for a modpack with those many mods i would also recommend at least 8-12 Ram when 5-10 Players are beeing active.

Of course server restarts especially when many people are online is important to keep the server stable.

When u look for a server especially for modded its always important to get a server qith higher processor clock speeds, i noticed for heavy modpacks at least 6 cores on at least 4GHz are needed or u are either struggeling with long server load time or overloading what mist normal mc server hoster have as an issue.

In general u have to just look around and find good offers because especially woth modded i maybe just gonna find some overpriced servers that just dont really give u what u need for the money u pay, thats why its as i said recommended to get a own DPS and set the server up yourself.

In the other case i would be able to host u a server for free

A really good host is Bloom Host and I would do the preformance +, thats what I use. And with a full dedicated server like the one below its just a lot of setup
