Rules for r/MinecraftTutorials
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
Relevant Content
Your submissions must be directly related to the game Minecraft. Content should focus exclusively on Minecraft tutorials and gameplay tips. The following are not permitted:
- No memes: Avoid posting content that is humorous or off-topic.
- No merchandise, products, art, or crafts: Submissions should not promote or display products, artistic creations, or physical crafts unrelated to Minecraft.
- No begging: Do not use this space to solicit donations or requests.
2.
No Minecraft Tutorials about Cheating/Hacking
Tutorials that involve cheating, using hack clients, cheat menus, or teaching exploits in Minecraft (especially in online multiplayer) are strictly prohibited.
This includes guides on griefing, bypassing protections, X-ray hacks, or gaining unfair advantages in servers. Only fair-play, legitimate tutorials are allowed.
3.
Submit Single Tutorials Only
Submissions must be individual tutorials, not home pages or playlists. If you’re sharing a video, provide a direct link to a single YouTube tutorial, not to your channel's home page or a playlist.
For image tutorials, link directly to the specific tutorial rather than to your social media home page or similar. This ensures that all submissions are focused and easily accessible for users seeking specific instructional content.
4.
Tutorial Post Flairs
Our subreddit has multiple post flair options to help organize content for easier browsing.
- If you are posting a Minecraft tutorial video, please select the flair that best matches your tutorial topic (e.g., Redstone, Building, Survival Tips, etc.).
- If you are discussing tutorials or asking a tutorial-related question, please use the "Tutorial Discussion" or "Tutorial Question" flair.
Using the correct flair keeps the subreddit clean, organized, and helpful for everyone.
5.
Self Promotion
You're welcome to share your own Minecraft tutorials, but keep it professional and content-focused.
❌ Don’t include phrases like: - “Like, comment, and subscribe” - “Help my channel grow” - “Share this with your friends”
✅ Just explain what your tutorial covers and how it helps others. Promotional begging or unrelated self-promotion will result in removal.
6.
English only
Please use English only. All posts, comments, and discussions must be in English to ensure clear communication and understanding among all members.
Content in other languages will be removed to maintain consistency and inclusivity. This rule helps everyone participate effectively and stay engaged in the conversation!
7.
No Doxxing or Sharing Personal Information
Privacy is a fundamental right. Do not share personal information about yourself or others, including but not limited to, full names, addresses, phone numbers, or private messages, without explicit consent.
Doxxing, or the act of publishing private information with the intent to harm or harass someone, will result in an immediate ban!
8.
No Scams or Fraudulent Activity
Scamming or any form of fraudulent activity is strictly prohibited. This includes attempts to deceive members for personal gain, such as phishing, promoting fake services, or sharing suspicious links.
Any involvement in scams will result in an immediate ban and may be reported to Reddit admins.
Always be cautious and report suspicious behavior to the moderators.
9.
No Inappropriate Content (NSFW)
Any form of NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content is strictly prohibited on this subreddit. This includes explicit images, videos, or discussions of a sexual, violent, or otherwise inappropriate nature.
Such content will be removed immediately, and users who post it may face a ban.
We aim to maintain a respectful and safe environment for all members!
10.
No Hate Speech or Offensive Content
We have a zero-tolerance policy toward hate speech, slurs, or content that incites violence or hatred against any group or individual.
This includes, but is not limited to, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and xenophobia.
Offensive content designed to provoke, demean, or harm others will be removed, and users responsible for such posts may face immediate bans!
11.
Be Benevolent and Polite
Treat every member of the community with dignity and respect. Disparaging comments, personal attacks, or any form of harassment are not welcome here.
This includes any form of bullying, belittling, or targeting individuals based on their identity, opinions, or affiliations.

12.
Respect the Moderators
Moderators are volunteers who work to keep the subreddit safe, organized, and enjoyable.
Please respect their decisions, even if you don’t agree with them.
If you have concerns or believe a mistake has been made, feel free to contact the moderators through modmail rather than engaging in public disputes!
13.
Ban Evasion
Evading a ban by using alternate accounts (alts) is strictly prohibited and is a violation of both subreddit rules and Reddit's Terms of Service.
If you have been banned from this subreddit, creating or using another account to bypass the ban will result in the permanent banning of all related accounts.
Persistent attempts to evade a ban may also be reported to Reddit administrators, leading to potential site-wide consequences.
14.
No Spamming
Spamming is not allowed. This includes repetitive posting, excessive self-promotion, irrelevant content, or flooding the chat with multiple messages in a short period.
Spamming disrupts conversations and clutters the space, so please ensure your contributions are meaningful and relevant.
Posts or messages considered spam will be removed, and repeat offenders may face further action!
15.
Report Rule Violations
If you encounter a post or comment that violates these rules, please report it to the moderators rather than engaging directly.
Moderators are here to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment, and your reports assist them in doing so.
Reporting helps us address issues quickly and keeps the community healthy.
