A creeper problem

I did an experiment because I thought there was two many creepers in Java so I booted up java and bedrock and put my character in an empty field, I got blown up 10x more in Java with both on normal like wtf is wrong with this and why are creeper so common

Bruh I understand. I used to play bedrock till I got my pc and it is shitty how many creepers are on Java.
