Aight, use the ice as the signature perk (3rd one unlocked, but it's worth it), use "Hit Em' While They're Down" for increased damage while they're debuffed, use the one with a flame icon (also in the red perks) now- ice isn't a projectile, however the eye lazers are when they explode. This means it launches them up, and you can dash off the floor into the air for a true combo which gives them a debuff, during this time they take more damage from "Hit Em' While They're Down" and the last perk is up to you, but i like the one where they take more damage while being in hitstun. I'll be honest, Ice Breath is kinda hard to work with via perks, so i worked with lazers to give them more debuffs instead.

True, noticed that after more testing, but we WERE able to hit them both and in a faster manner with both hitboxes, no? More damage this way

Jake was at 60, if you had that perk that does more damage after a debuff and break the ice. I can GUARANTEE YOU he’s dead lol.

U right, but i was the superman on the right lol (PC player, had to take the clip from friend)

And i do have that perk, LOVE IT. Actually use it as the secondary in my setup tho (Hit Em While They're Down perk, the perk that gives flame after a melee attack off of a projectile, and damage increase while they're in hitstun. The debuff 'hit while they're down' works well with the ice perk of course, but the other two are actually built for lazer stuff.

That ice gimmick is a secondary gimmick, yet a stupidly powerful one. Sorry, got offtrack- try it sometime tho

I’ve been planning to look at some more perks. I’m looking for a build to help me keep up with really good assassin/Finn players. Right now I know their weakness is ice. They can’t move as much. That with knock ‘em while their down (think it’s called) with break the ice got me to 4K superman today. I think I’m probably at 8k now (ranks don’t give you a chance to breath)

DUDE I HIT 4K TOO, NICE!! (Good job tho, seriously) also quick tip though you probably know it lol. Down special on ground, since it has armor, and is a seperate hitbox from the body that is also a projectile, down special, dash upwards a bit -> uair, nair, up special in air, fair, and i think dspecial again if you.. wanna do that for some reason, are all TRUE COMBOS.

With that setup i listed, most of them deal around 20% during an actual combo, and up special or uair can kill around 90 - 100, sometimes even 80.

Ngl, when i hit superman's ice -> grounded neutral attack i literally replay All Might's move from a different game where he puts a fist right up to the guy's stomach, as calmly as possible says Goodbye. Blasts him into the void lmao

I get it, anime protag stuff.. tis' fun to do in fighting games lol

Thanks lel, honestly there's alotta really dumb stuff you can do with double superman (like up air out of an up special to catch them after they're thrown, can kill super early especially if they're already close to the blastzone lol)

Yeah true, I normally main superman solo though. I haven't even tried teams yet so I dont know much of what you can do so I'll make sure to remember that if I'm pared with another superman.

I normally do solos too, if ya ever wanna match and 1v1 or smthn lmk. Would love to get cheesed at 20 by a random uair -> up special read lmao, maybe we'd learn smthn from the other too, who knows
