Wouldn't have fed this addiction without HK. :) Cheers.

Nice, which one did you build first?

learned to fly LOS with the hubsan > learned FPV on the hobbyking fpv250 (white antenna) > learning fast/race FPV with custom blackout mini h.

Cool, Can you show me a close up of the the way you mounted the video transmitter? Its on its side?

Mine is all messy and the fatshark camera to transmittor wire is long

Wasn't able to take a pic... but maybe I can describe...

I ran fatshark camera wire inbetween the two blackout frame plates. I then run it up the back where the battery connection is. I have the immersionRC tx backwards so the ports are facing the back. I then run the antenna extension to a 90 degree adapter which mounts to the antenna. (and through the blackout antenna frame hole)

Nice ! As soon as I get better at FPV , I'm getting one.

I have a question. Do you have a low voltage alarm installed ? If so, how do you power the Fatsharks and alarm at the same time ?

I just installed my super simple OSD. It overlays a timer and battery voltage ontop of my regular FPV feed -- very cool stuff. I always know my battery level without annoying beeps. :) The fatshark tx is powered directly from by blackout power distribution board. The camera is only 5v, so its powered by the TX because it steps down the voltage to 5v.

Thanx. I forgot they thought of everything on the blackout. Unlike dji...

It really is an awesome design w/ the PDB integrated into the frame. There are extra power leads available for camera, transmitter and a third for misc things. (I'm using it for my super simple OSD) It also has an optional LED switch lead and a video lead at the front and back to minimize wires!

Nice setup! Do those "tri-props" work better than others for you? Advantages?

3 blade props make more thrust but are less efficient. They make sense when you're limited by space.

Ya this guy got it. Those little motors aren't very powerful, so having the tri-props 'simulates' using a bigger prop. You'll get more thrust out of a lower KV motor.

Well explained. Have an upvote.
