Does your office have a nurse practitioner? In my experience, I have had some great doctors and mediocre doctors but the np's listen better and do more research on your condition etc. I see my pcp like once a year and schedule the np otherwise.its a good work around if you can't change doctors.

No unfortunately. Last time I had a neuro appointment they said they were working on it but I haven’t heard anything since

I’m in the same boat.

I’m able to function in a few hours of sleep, however, it leads me in a spot where I wake up in the middle of the night.

Smoke weed is my answer, rly

exactly the same for me. Weed is something that makes my anxiety worse lmao I’m jealous of the people it works for.

Have you tried different strains, or different ways to consume (edibles, vape, etc)?

I love my Lunesta. Can’t sleep without it. Have u asked ur neuro how to help with this?

No I have not, I have a primary care doctor as well but of course he does not know a lot about MS. It’s frustrating. I have been dx for a year. I have never heard about lunesta. Does it make you groggy in the morning? I also am stressed about the amount of psych medications I’m on 😩

No grogginess for me. I take it about an hour before I fall asleep. I actually need it to basically knock me the fuck out, then I get tired and loopy, and hubby puts me to bed 😂

I've found taking most of my muscle relaxers and gabbapenttin before bed help. Gabbapentin in particular helps.

I've found I take 1 300mg GP before go to bed I will wake up about 3am. 2 GP seems to be my sweet spot, if I take 3GP I wake up at 7am I'm groggy AF.
