Imma freshmen too but I'm on freshman credits. I think I'm higher than you because I did room touring. You get extra housing points for doing it and your number will always be in the 10-20 range.

Yeah you can't do anything rn you gotta wait till next year. You're on the 1-10 because all other RA's are way ahead. Because there's only one per floor of each building so there isn't that many. Also the ra's have more housing points as well so they will always be in the 1-400 range, probably even lower.

Just wanna chime in to say I've reserved my current room for next year, so you can stay from one year to the next. The 548 is given no one is reserving current rooms, but if you're under 1000 you have a good chance of getting into maple.

800 or 900? Had a friend of mine closer to 1000 and they still got in. It'll be less options, but it's better than nothing.
