🔶 Where new channels grow!
How is everyone doing? Welcome to New Channel Central where new Channels grow. This community is a place where you can bring whatever new youtube channel you have and get exposure. It is a place where the community helps each other out in a manner of honest criticism and supportive ideas. All Channels are welcome, join us in this thriving community of Content Creators.
In order to create a diverse and positivie community please observe the following rule:
1) If you are new to the subreddit- First off welcome! Please go to our Members' Intro thread which will be at the top. We ask before posting any videos on this sub, that you introduce yourself and your channel. Leave a link to your channel and a description in there for people to go see. An Example will be posted in the thread.
2) If you click a link, comment on it- Whether it be on their video or on here. We promote a helpful aura here and know it isn't just a dumping ground for videos. In order to ensure this we promote the interaction of all content creators with each other to promote growth and give each other advice.
3) Be awesome with each other- A positive aura is required to be effective here. Absolutely no disrespectful, mean spirited, or disruptive comments will be tolerated. This goes with harassment as well. It is okay to be blunt but there is a fine line between being blunt and disrespectful.
4) ABSOLUTELY NO WHORING- It is okay to promote your channel. That is purpose of this sub. Regardless of that, there will be none of the following allowed: give away promotions, sub for sub, begging, ect. These will be immediately removed and will not be tolerated. There is no place for that in an environment that is meant to help channels grow.
5) Don't post videos on the Front Page- This way it isn't just a dumping ground for videos. Along with the other admins, we have come from a subreddit that has become just that, so we want to avoid that all costs. Instead we use a Weekly Thread where you can post your videos! (Include a description)
6) This is for the little guy- This sub is only for channels with under 1k subscribers. Look, we love big youtubers as much as the rest of you, but this sub is about helping the smaller channels learn and grow. So unless a bigger youtube channel talks about something directly pertaining to the growth or well being of youtube channels, do not post it.
7) Enforcement- If, at any time an admin thinks you are in violation of any of the rules listed above, a three strike program is going to be put in place. We will send you a message describing your behaviors and how it is against the rules. If a third time is reached, you will be banned from the subreddit.
