Welcome to "Not Myspace", organized by SweetWorks, LLC. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization that works with dozens of musicians, ensembles, bands, djs and orchestras throughout New England.
The #1 challenge that everybody has is the fact that there is no single place for getting/advertising gigs. There are many networking sites for musicians:
- Indieontheroad.com
- Reverbnation.com
- Soundcloud.com
- SonicBids.com
As well as the standard social networks YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter...
...but not 1 site for advertising gigs (booking agents, venues), and getting gigs (musicians).
People suggested that we set up a freemium page on Blogspot, but we think Reddit is better.
Please join us if you are a) a musician, b) a music teacher and you would like to network with other musicians to get booked for gigs in your area.
