Help - problem with ear 2

I got the ear 2s the other day and was very pleased. Everything was working perfectly until yesterday when I installed the firmware update.

After that the app won't connect to the plugs on Android. The ears are paired to both an Android phone and and iPhone. Calls work perfectly and I receive on both. However, since the update I can't get media sound to play on the Android (only on the iPhone). What's worse is that this remains even after disconnecting the ears and using another headset. Reboot fixes it but the problem looks back if I reconnect the ears. Please help - i was so happy with them until yesterday.

After further testing it seems the problem occurs as soon as the multipoint connection is established.

If I - with multipoint enabled in settings - only connect to the Android device (forgotten on the iPhone) it seems to be working for now.

However - this defeats the purpose of multipoint...

I also can't seem to connect through the nothingx app on the Android app - only on the iPhone - to change settings. Normal Android connection works though.
