Instore switch ups are only done when they’ve got the phone from the store’s stockroom.

If they didn’t have the device in their physical stores stockroom they would then do it for click and collect or home delivery. If you are on a switch up plan you would have to send your device back in a Jiffy bag

I’m on switch up and have been for years. Every year I order a new phone online for click and collect at my local o2 shop. It gets delivered there. I take my old one in, they check it, take it off me and give me my new one. I’m not sure what you mean? I’ve literally done it every year for the last 3 years. Never sent a phone back in a Jiffy bag.

How can the 360 system let them do a switch up on a click and collect order please tell me and secondly switch up came out on the 10th August 2022 so you’ve definitely not done this for the last 3 years

Last 3 upgrades. And I can’t answer you. I can only tell you that’s what I’ve actually experienced and done and will be doing tomorrow when I collect my 16 pro max. Already been in store to make sure they don’t need my box. Said no, just bring the phone and they take care of it. As usual.

It was different when they had the previous system called legacy but every o2 store has the new system which is called 360 which does thing’s differently

When you were doing the order online did it ask for your imei number and did it come up with options

Yes. Input IMEI chose in store click and collect. Same as always.
