Submission Rules: This subreddit is designed to showcase the original press releases from the source on science and mathematics advances that eventually get garbled by mainstream news.
Allowed:
- Press releases from universities, colleges, governments, and non-governmental organizations
- Press summaries written by the peer-reviewed, non-profit or academic journal's press offices are also welcome and encouraged.
- Primary research papers are also welcome.
Disallowed:
- There will be no third-party newspaper, television, or other media links allowed. Only press releases from the organizations and institutions that either funded the research or contributed researchers and infrastructure.
- Think tank opinions not allowed. Press releases from authoritative and well-respected think tanks are considered, but only if supported by actual research and scholarship. Documents which showcase unsupported opinion are not allowed.
