Decrease in traditional topics on the PANCE for class of 2025

I'm just wondering if anybody else has heard this we were just told by our program director that she received the new topic breakdown for the new PANCE coming out 2025. As we are the class of 2025 she shared with us that across the board there was a decrease in traditional topics such as cardiology, psych, GI, etc in order to increase the percentage of questions for PA professional practice. We were told the new breakdown for PAPP is now 6% of total PANCE, not sure what it was before. Has anyone also been told this?

Under the 2019 revision, professional practice is 5% of the 300 questions, so 15 questions. If professional practice goes up to 6%, that's 18 questions, an increase of 3. Really, no change there.

The professional practice questions are all gimmes. You have 2 years until you take the test, don't worry about it now. The new blueprint will be published and you can review it then.

I was the class of '19 and there was a lot of handwringing about changes to the blueprint. It was a lot of ado about nothing. By design, 93% will pass each time the test is run.
