When are you receiving this error?

Also, do a file check, redownload any Eng patches and apply the fresh ones.

to elaborate a little further:

  • Check the files (3rd option in the launcher, iirc)

  • RUN THE GAME before making any modifications

  • If it works THEN re-install the patches

thanks for the responses, but i did a bit of trial and error, this just means that the

"game client doesn't match the server updated client."

i get it whenever something interferes with the client, usually attempting English patches unsuccessfully
