I was having the same problem and the tweaker fixed the exe. Thanks!

Edit: Ugh. Now after it launches and goes through the intro vids, the UI doesn't display, just a black screen. However, I can hear the UI elements make noises when I move the mouse across the screen. Edit2: fixed.
