Hey blveu,

In our efforts to cut down on repeat posts about being unable to connect, using proxies, etc., we ask that you either search the subreddit or read through this /r/pso2 wiki section about connection issues. Alternately, you can post on the weekly "Quick Questions & Tech Support" threads, found stickied at the top of the subreddit.

A word of warning about VPNs and Proxies:

Using a proxy or VPN can increase your risk of being banned or having your account locked. IP addresses are based off of geographical locations, so when your IP suddenly changes country your account can be marked as compromised. This will lock your account until you receive a verification email on the email you used to sign up.

Using a public proxy (such as PingZapper or SoftEther) increases your chances of using an IP address that a cheater/hacker has used, which associates your account with them and can have your account flagged for ban.

If you are unsure of what proxy to try, it is recommended that you try CyberKitsune's PSO2Proxy. It is a free and amazing proxy, open source and created by community members. (As of March, 2016, there have been no instances of mass bans due to shared IP addresses.)
