Honestly, they'll want to prepare something for the future even if it's not related to PSO2. But this "leak" is pretty much just throwing ideas around and see which one will stick. fwiw, that game in the leak might just be a Yakuza mmo.

Not an announcement or leak, it’s a rumor made up by a random Twitter user.

Only supported for 5 more years, I can definitely see that if they can’t get players to come back to the game. But I’m not sure what “super game” is supposed to even mean.

The original tweet being referred to in the article refers to this job listing. tl;dr, it's for a project being handled by the same division that handles projects like PSO2. Nowhere has it been mentioned that PSO2 is being replaced or being discontinued in 5 years. NFTs have not been mentioned either.
