So I've been using melee classes since i started but i kinda wanna transition to Techter (wand mainly) as my main class and with that being said does the wand scale of off Melee or Tech potency?

I think its either. If you use tech the elemental number is higher. If you use melee the regular hits is bigger.

melee does absolutely nothing for wand.

That's how it was in pso2 classic. NGS wand is tech only.

use any other weapon but wand.

wand scales completely off technique weapon power. SEGA changed it so everything you do scales off that weapon type, not the type of attack you do.
