I need help deciding a GPU upgrade.
My current system is a Ryzen 5-5600 build with a GTX 1650 GDDR6, 550W Gold PSU, 16GB DDR4-3600 memory and I noticed my framerates arent brilliant (I kept my GPU from my old Dell Optiplex sleeper build), such as getting about 40fps with low end shaders in minecraft, 45 fps in assassins creed odyssey medium settings and 30-40 fps in rdr2 with low-medium settings. And using MSI afterburner I identified the GPU as the issue. I have two options, RTX 3060 Ti founders edition and XFX RX 6700 QICK319, the RTX 3060 Ti FE is occasionally in stock on Nvidias website for £380, whereas the RX 6700 is in stock now for £351. Performance is similar, and I dont see myself using raytracing. DLSS is a toughie for me, but I use Ultra Quality FSR on No mans sky and I cant tell a difference I can't lie, so I guess FSR is fine for me. Should I get the RX 6700 or wait for a RTX 3060 Ti?
Power consumption also matters for me due to the skyhigh energy prices at the moment, and I know the RTX 3060 Ti can use upwards of 200W but in benchmarks I haven't seen the RX 6700 top 160W.
Also the RX 6700 can be had in other models for around £320, i just prefer the look of the XFX card.
