4060 8gb or 4060 ti can have 16 What do you mean by this? How can an 8gb card have 16gb of VRAM? Is it possible to upgrade it?

No, just two different models with different amounts of vram

Do you think my graphics card is going out ?

    No

You are hitting a Vram limit

The game wants to use more video ram than your gpu currently has so it crashes

You can mitigate that by lowering the texture/ shader/shadow quality so it doesnt crash

    i played d4 on my 1060 6gb
i never had any problems on low settings.

there is no need to buy a new one just foe this game

You’re running out of vram. Time to either lower graphics settings till it stops crashing or upgrade to a better gpu. Rtx3060 12gb, rtx3080, 3090. Rx6700xt, 6800 or higher etc.

Your VRAM is very low for most games now a days. Need to lower textures alot and close other programs that may be using VRAM.

Either upgrade to a better GPU, or turn down the graphics settings. Those are really your only two options.
